Meet the Halberts

Let me start , from the very beginning! Mr. Halbert and I married February 5th of 2016, we were madly in love (still are) and so excited to begin our new life together. We both grew up here in Southern Indiana, and planned to start our life together here and raise our children just as we were.

One thing I didn't have a whole lot of growing up however was dogs. My dad wasn't the biggest fan, so the running joke all growing up was "when you get married you can get all the dogs you want." Who knew I would take him so literally hah!

I had a couple Beagles and a Australian Shepherds as a kid, and Mr. Halbert grew up on a farm with an assortment of different breeds, Blue Heelers being his preference. Well just a month after our wedding, Mr. and Halbert and I took a trip to Missouri to get our very first dog, and it was an Australian Shepherd!

Brody was the beginning of this crazy journey. Since then we have added an assortment of other furry friends, of all shapes and sizes! And through this process we have found what fits best with our family!

Also, in the last six years we have added a beautiful little boy and girl of our very own! Our family just continues to grow. Now we live on a beautiful farm out in rural Southern Indiana with our furry friends, kiddos, other barnyard animals, and we are loving every minute of it!
